Creamy, garlicky, and smoothly smeared on toasted bread
2 small rounds/ 10 minutes prepare time
Ingredients
- 1 small head garlic
- cup raw cashew pieces, soaked in water 8-10 hours
- 1/4 cup unsweetened coconut flakes
- 1 Tbsp coconut oil (optional)
- 1 Tbsp almond milk
- 3 Tbsp fresh lemon juice
- 1/4 tsp paprika powder
- Fresh chopped herbs, such as thyme, rosemary, parsely, oregano, fennel
- salt
Instuuctions
- Drain soaked cashew
- In a food processor add in cashew, coconut flakes, almond milk, garlic, lemon juice, salt, oil and blend until smooth.
- Pour the mixture into cheese cloth and set it in a container let it sit in fridge for at least 2 hours or overnight.
- Carefully take out the set cheese from the cloth and garnish with chopped herbs or sprinkle with paprika powder.
